1. How long should I leave the tumbler on?

This is a trade off between quantity and quality. Most users’ will do a short first cycle of say 15 minutes and collect the resin glands. A second cycle of up to an hour will produce more but of a slightly lower quality. Ultimately you can leave it switched on until no more resin glands are falling through the screen.

2. What is the best screen size to use?

Again this is up to the individual. The standard 149-micron screen yields excellent results, and most customers purchase their scuffbox with this screen. The 132-micron has a smaller aperture. It can produce a better quality product because it will let less contaminant through the screen. However, quality is also determined by the length of time the tumbler is on for.

3. Is the SB-14L big enough for my needs?

The SB-14L is our most popular model. It is more than adequate for most hobby/semi commercial growers. Even if you have large quantities of scuff (trim leaf) available, you can always do several cycles in the tumbler. There is very little work involved with this method.

4. I cannot get my resin to press properly?

This is usually an indication that the pollen has too many contaminants in it. You can try warming it gently either by a radiator or with very short bursts in the microwave.

5. How long will my order take to arrive?

Your scuffbox should arrive within 7 days of you making a payment.

6. Will the packaging be discrete?

Yes.

7. Will you share my details with a third party?

Definitely not.

8. What if my order arrives damaged?

We take every care to pack our products carefully, and we endeavour to rectify any mistakes as quickly as possible.
